Looking Ahead: Stories, Projects, and New Adventures

June has arrived, and with it comes the feeling that summer is officially here—even though, in Arizona, it doesn’t truly feel like summer until the monsoons arrive.
The temperatures are climbing, and much like I did during Minnesota winters, I’m spending a little more time indoors. By mid-afternoon, we’re often flirting with 100 degrees already. While the desert heat can be challenging, it also provides something every writer needs: time to think, plan, and create.
Many people ask what I’m working on these days, and the honest answer is—quite a few things. I’m excited to share that Pinky Pickle and the Veggie Crew Coloring Book is now available on Amazon! With 60 pages of coloring fun featuring Pinky and his friends, it’s a great addition to the growing Pinky Pickle collection and can be enjoyed by all ages. Follow the link~
Writing projects don’t always move at the speed we’d like. Sometimes life rearranges our plans, and one project must wait while another takes center stage. I’ve learned that those pauses aren’t failures. They’re simply part of the creative process.
My goal remains the same: keep moving forward.
I’m continuing work on several projects, including children’s books, a podcast, a nonprofit, historical research, and a few longer works that have been patiently waiting their turn.
I’m also looking forward to expanding some of my advocacy and educational work in the coming months. Helping people recognize unhealthy patterns, think critically, and find hope in difficult situations continues to be important to me.
For now, I’m focusing on steady progress rather than speed.
One page. One chapter. One project at a time.
Thank you for following along on this journey. Whether you’ve been here for years or just recently discovered my work, I appreciate your support more than you know!

The stories aren’t finished yet. There will always be so many more to tell.
In many ways, they’re just getting started.
