August has brought welcome changes here in the Arizona desert. The monsoon rains arrived on time and lasted longer than expected, soaking the ground and giving new life to our trees and plants. After months of heat, it's refreshing to feel the air begin to cool and watch the landscape come alive with the moisture.
It's also been a season of change here at home. While I can't share all the details just yet, I hope to be writing about some exciting news very soon. Through it all, God has made His presence known in countless ways. We've watched Him open doors, answer prayers, and work miracles in ways that continue to amaze us.
This year has also brought new challenges and new friendships, stronger family connections, and new plans for adventures in the year ahead. It's a reminder that every season has its purpose, and sometimes the greatest blessings arrive when we least expect them.
On the writing front, my youngest daughter and I are nearly finished with the first book in a brand-new kid's series! We also each have nonfiction books in the works, with releases planned soon and into 2027.
Be watching for announcements about our new podcast and social media community, Aware and Unwired, where we'll discuss recognizing the signs of abuse and learning how to "unwire" our thinking so we can live healthier, freer lives.
